Between the 15 and 19 of January 2024, CEIP Guillena hosted our first LTTA of the project. Six students and three teachers from Norway (Sviland Skule) and six students and three teachers from Greece (CHAIN consortium) visited Guillena. They participated in the activities that the hosts had prepared and were focused on computational thinking.
On Monday, 15/1, the visiting students and teachers were welcomed in the town hall with local dances. They also had the chance to present their schools, towns, and countries to the hosts. After the welcoming ceremony, they visited the CEIP Guliena, where they participated in warm-up activities with local students.

On Tuesday, 16/1, the hosts prepared computational thinking activities using educational materials from the European Space Agency and the Bee-bot floor roamer platform. In the first activity, students had to cooperate and make lists of the necessary things they would bring with them on a mission to the moon. During the second activity, student groups had the task of programming the bee-bots to complete specific missions on a two-dimensional map that represented the surface of another planet. Students worked in mixed groups. After the computational thinking activities, students participated in warm-up dancing and music activities in the schoolyard. In the afternoon, students and teachers visited Italica, and students from Norway and Greece were accompanied by local families.

On Wednesday, 17/1, visiting students participated in computational thinking activities using ESA game-based materials and block-based programming. They also took part in Escape room activities designed by the local hosts. In the afternoon, local families accompanied the visiting students around the city of Sevilla.

On Thursday, 18/1, visiting students participated in Computational activities that utilized the Astro Pi materials from ESA Education. They also had the chance to go on a tour of Sevilla. Teachers from all the schools also visited the Onda Guillena radio station and discussed the positive outcomes of the mobilities that Erasmus projects offer to students and educators.

On Friday, 19/1, students and teachers visited the Casa de la Ciencia Museum. The visit was organized by the local school. We want to thank our hosts from CEIP Guillena for the wonderful organization and hospitality. Next stop, Florina, in April!
